At this time, the 2026-2027 New Member Application window has closed!

We appreciate your interest in joining the Junior League of Tallahassee. In the mean time, subscribe to our Community Newsletter to stay in the loop of all things JLT and next Spring, you’ll receive an email when our application window opens.

During your new member year, members are required to:

  • Attend New Member Super Saturday – July 11, 2026
  • Attend 1 General Member Meeting
  • Attend 4 New Member Workshops
  • $85 Training Fee* – (Due by June 1; pays for tees, name tags, space, food at meetings)
  • $173 Annual Membership Dues (Due Sept. 1, payment plan available)
  • $150 Fundraising Commitment (many ways to meet this)

*The New Member Training Fee ($85) covers the costs associated with the training workshops as well as your JLT volunteer shirt and name tag. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid online.


 

About New Member Recruitment 

The Junior League of Tallahassee (JLT) trains new members to be effective volunteers and leaders in our community through a comprehensive training program, including workshops and guest lecturers. As a member of JLT, you will meet motivated and like-minded women, learn more about your community, be presented with opportunities to manage projects and expand your skill sets, participate in meaningful and impactful service initiatives, and even make lifelong friends. Membership in JLT is an invaluable networking and professional development opportunity.

Prospective members must meet the League’s objective criteria to be considered for membership:

  • Be at least 23 years of age at the time of application
  • Reside in Leon County or within a 40-mile radius
  • Possess an interest in leadership development
  • Possess an interest in volunteerism and a commitment to community service
