Community Partnership

Thank you to all submissions for the future Jill Pope Community Partner. At this time, the 2021 application has closed and submissions are under review. Stay tuned to our future announcement! If you have any questions please contact projectresearchdevelopment@jltallahassee.org.

In 2016, the JLT lost one of our own, Past President Jill Pope. Jill was a passionate volunteer and children’s advocate. In honor of Jill, we are proud to launch the Jill Pope Community Partnership.

JLT regularly seeks out a new community partnership to further our mission by providing volunteer support and funding to a partnering non-profit that aligns with the mission of the JLT by improving the lives of children and families in our community. In addition to aligning with our mission, priority consideration will be given to community partners seeking assistance with providing women and children with basic needs such as food, clothing, school supplies, and personal hygiene products, as well as those organizations that seek to raise the confidence and self-esteem of women and children.

The JLT Community Partner program aims to assist local nonprofits in launching, re-launching, or growing a project through the motivation of JLT’s volunteer power, promotional power, and financial grant support capabilities. We welcome the opportunity to learn more about the services your organization currently provides to the Tallahassee community. Moreover, we look forward to learning more about your ideas for projects and/or programs in which the JLT could assist you with implementing. Through a partnership, we hope to promote confidence, develop leadership, and empower children and their families in the Tallahassee area.

Currently, the JLT is partnered with HOPE Community and Sabal Palm Community Partnership School.
